Aamar meye chul bandhe na step cut je chule,
Meyer kathai porlo mone darun upoma,
Aage mayer meye chhilum ekhan meyer maa.
Aainata ek e thake bodle jai mukhh,
Joubanta paar hole e paliye jai sukhh.

Bayastake lukiye rakhar proyas chalai tere,
Aakashete aalo chhaya, joyar vanta jale,
Bayas ta to dine – dine egiye shudhu chale.
Mann udasi chhutir bashi bajchhe kothao dure,
Hariye fela din gulo ki aabar pabo fire?

Bahon chhilo bahak habe e char kandhete chore,
megh piyoner haate pelum kaal bikaler chithi,
barchhe bayas , etai khabor, solo aana e khati..
